Silberbichlerhof-Weingut Hutter

The first watchtowers of the Roman settlement of Favianis once stood where the Silberbichlerhof stands today. And even back then, viticulture was of great importance. Now in its 7th generation and documented since 1748, the Hut family has been growing grapes here, producing wonderfully delicate, mineral and elegant white wines, primarily multi-award-winning Rieslings and Grüne Veltliners. The vineyards of the 14-hectare estate are located on both the right and left bank of the Danube and have exciting, different styles. While the left bank vineyards around the village of Loiben score with their mineral spiciness and finesse, the neighboring vineyards on the opposite bank impress with their full-bodiedness and depth. The wines can be tasted in the cozy tasting room or in the atrium courtyard. The covered atrium courtyard is also available for various celebrations.
