Very close to the wine town of Langenlois lies the small, dreamy village of Mittelberg. Here, 75 kilometers west of Vienna, up the Danube in Lower Austria's Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German), lie the vineyards of our organically farmed family winery.Protected by the wooded hills of the Waldviertel, the vines thrive on the partly stony terraces and partly deep loess soils. Warm days and cool nights, the fusion of the Kamp and Danube valleys and the special geological conditions in the vineyards characterize the style of the wines.
