We have a short stage ahead of us here. Starting from the village center, we cross the Lengenfeld Brook and go up to the parish church of St. Pankratius (originally a Romanesque fortified church) and further to Kremser Street. We stay on this for 100 m heading south and then turn onto Blauenstein Street. After about 150 m, we turn left onto Weidengasse, going through the new residential area uphill. At the top, at the wayside shrine, we cross the state road towards Kittmannsberg. From here on, we constantly hike through vineyards and the vineyard sites Sand, Kremsfeld, Riedl, Satzen, and Loiserweg.
The following underpass of the B37 helps us to cross it safely. Via the Stratzing cellar lane, we reach the municipal office in the village center. As in many places along our route, there is also the possibility to stop at a Heuriger here.
TIP: Those who feel like it and have time can also explore the local hiking trails, such as the Ice Age Trail.
