    The Dunkelsteinerwald Route (DUR), which is a total of 160 kilometers long, connects the most beautiful places of the Dunkelsteinerwald region in 9 stages (and 4 connecting paths).     This connecting path takes us from Wetzlarn to Maria Langegg and can be ideally combined with DUR1 and DUR3. From Wetzlarn we hike through coniferous forests to Himmelreich, from where there is a wonderful panoramic view towards Maria Langegg. From here the path leads along the trail of the elf secret to Gansbach, where we find a place to refresh ourselves. Strengthened, we go downhill to the Hönigspitzmühle, where the path joins DUR3 to the pilgrimage site Maria Langegg.

    Wetzlarn: A1 to the St. Pölten junction, then continue on S33 towards Krems, exit Herzogenburg-Nord, then continue on state roads L111 and L5040 to Wetzlarn.
