Redlinger Hütte

The perfect destination for your short excursion in the heart of the Vienna Woods - just 20 minutes from the outskirts of Vienna. Our hut is a wonderful place to stop off after short walks or long hikes - it is the ideal place for rest, relaxation and refreshment. For refreshment we offer solid home cooking as well as seasonal vegetarian/vegan dishes and refreshing drinks.

Access

Access is the same as Museum Gugging via the new traffic circle at Billa via the IST-A main road, straight ahead until the no-driving sign after the bridge. Then approx. 15 min leisurely walk. Route planner (Navi): Enter Am Campus 1, 3400 Gugging! Coordinates: 48.323045,16264962, please do not enter Redlingerhütte, you will end up in the bush. From Heiligenstadt: Bus 239 to IST-A

We are open all day! Weekdays with a short menu.
Normal operation on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Opening hours: Year-round: From approx. 10 am until dusk, longer or earlier by prior arrangement.

Celebrations

Whether you are planning a birthday or children's birthday party, a christening or first communion, a class reunion or a wedding celebration: our hut offers space for approx. 100 people inside; outdoors and under the roof for up to 200 people.

Food and drink
You can choose from our menu or order food for a cold or warm buffet (price per person / please discuss with the chef) or bring your own food / pastries or drinks - in this case we charge a fee per plate / cutlery or stoppelgeld per bottle.

music
Power connections and infrastructure also available outdoors/under the roof You can bring a band/solo entertainer/music on recordings or we can organize live music or a DJ for you

Decoration
Flower arrangements, tablecloths, napkins,... brought by yourself or on request

Fire
On request, we can prepare everything for a campfire or barbecue (except in extremely dry weather and strong winds).

Waste
Please take your own waste (empties/packaging) back with you. Otherwise we will charge a flat-rate disposal fee

Access road
Access is permitted for the transportation of goods or for people with walking difficulties, please arrange a time or ring the bell at the barrier.

Opening hours for celebrations - we are flexible
Please help to ensure that the sensitive forest and meadow surroundings of the hut as well as our ponds and fruit trees remain intact/preserved.
