The Austrian Sugar Museum, located in the attic of the Minorite Monastery in Tulln, offers a sweet insight into the history of sugar production. For over 75 years, the Agrana sugar factory in Tulln has been producing sweet products for the whole world, including the entire range of the ‘Wiener Zucker’ brand.

This museum documents the development of sugar production from the cane sugar mill to the modern sugar factory. It is a unique experience that takes visitors into the sweet side of the art & garden city of Tulln.

As Austria's sweetest museum, it offers a fascinating journey through the history of sugar and its significance in the world. A visit to the Sugar Museum is a must for anyone who appreciates the sweet side of life.


Public transportation by train & bus:
The journey with the S40 or the regional express (REX) from Vienna Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof takes approx. 20-40 minutes and from St. Pölten approx. 70 minutes. You can find the current timetable here.
Public bus lines (Postbus, Bahnbus, Regionalbus, Wieselbus, Rundlinien-Verkehr) will also take you to your destination.
