The Ahrenberger Kellergasse, together with the Eichberger Kellergasse, is a closed one-sided wine cellar lane with around 130 cellars. There is always at least one wine tavern open all year round. The longest wine tavern cellar lane in Lower Austria is located directly on the Venusberg Tour and the Traisental-Danube cycle route.

As early as the 1930s, cozy wine taverns were held in the Ahrenberger-Eichberger wine cellar lane. Since 1975, the wine tavern has been open all year round, with three families taking turns. In the fine season, the entire wine cellar lane is closed to cars to ensure a safe and undisturbed stroll. Younger guests can let off steam in the lovingly equipped playground. Every summer, there is a farmers' market and Hauerkirtag festival.

Wine nature trail and hike to the Eichberg corkscrew

A hiking trail and a 350-meter-long educational wine trail start below the old tree press in the wine cellar lane on Eichberg.

The themed trail tells the story of the history and culture of wine in the region by means of 9 barrel bottoms. The approximately 2.5-kilometre Hauersteig hiking trail leads to the Eichberg lookout tower on the Fuchsberg. The 15 meter high tower in the shape of a corkscrew offers the best views from Krems to the Tullner Feld.
