  • Church in Krummnußbaum

A modern parish church

The new Krummnußbaum parish church was consecrated in 1973. It replaced a church that had become too small and was consecrated in 1912 as the first church in Krummnußbaum.
The new church was built in exposed concrete according to plans by St. Pölten architect Dipl.Ing. Paul Pfaffenbichler. The church building consists of two polygonal cubes. The floor plan of the church resembles the traditional two-room system. The altar area is located in the middle of the room.

A folding wall enables the division into a "sacred space" (used as a weekday chapel) and a (larger) multi-purpose room, which can also be used for other cultural events outside of church service times.
