For me, my wine means home, Steinaweg, working in the great outdoors, observing the plants and reacting to their growth and requirements. It is important to me to make my wine as expressive as possible.
The focus is on varietal typicity, authenticity and terroir. I often succeed very well, sometimes less so. Wine is a natural product, very complex, dependent on many factors and cannot be standardized. Only when I am one hundred percent convinced by a batch will it leave me in the form of a bottle. I promise.
When you open a bottle of mine at home (or wherever you are), one thing is certain: a year of work, a year of quality-oriented thinking and action has gone into it. Many people have worked together to achieve the best. Pay tribute to the wine and enjoy it in peace, completely relaxed. Without the hustle and bustle, without the pressure of deadlines.
