The Bitter family's organic farm is located in the middle of the idyllic Mostviertel region, more precisely in a small village called Berging. The young takeovers Herbert jun. and Nicole
run the unique farm together with their parents Beatrix and Herbert Sr. Under the Wachaubeef brand, the family markets their high-quality organic pasture-raised beef from their Angus cattle, which they raise themselves with a lot of love, and the in-house "Tavern Fam. Bitter" opens its doors four times a year for enjoyment in a cozy atmosphere. Since June 2019, the business has been honored with the "Top Wine Tavern" award. This is a strong quality program of the Lower Austrian Chamber of Agriculture. With well over 50 criteria, ranging from the equipment of the business, the selection of delicacies from partner businesses and a variety of award-winning, self-produced musts, annual mystery checks are also part of quality assurance.
