The history of the old estate began almost 800 years ago in the small village of Oberfucha in the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) in Lower Austria. Today, as then, the arable land, hedges, cattle, pigs, chickens and bees complete our idea of holistic agriculture. Since 1988, the 23 hectares of vineyards and 27 hectares of arable land have been cultivated according to organic farming guidelines. Since 2019, membership of Demeter Austria has also given expression to our inner attitude. For more than 30 years, the ecological interplay has made the use of insecticides superfluous, strengthening the vines' resistance and a vibrant soil life.
