In the middle of the vineyards of Rossatz on the right bank of the Danube lies the Sigl winery, which is the first to greet wine lovers with a magnificent view over the Danube valley from Dürnstein to Krems. Creativity and a lot of feeling, complemented by sound training and modern wine technology, form the basis for Heinz and Adrienne Sigl's high-quality wines, which have also caused a sensation at numerous tastings. For example, they achieved a remarkable second place in the "Star Night Wine Tasting" (blind tasting of Grüne Veltliner Federspiel) organized by Vinaria in 2015. Furthermore, the GV Federspiel Mugler 2015 emerged as the winner in the Federspiel tasting in FEINSCHMECKER magazine and Vinaria awarded the Riesling Smaragd 2015 5 stars. The high-quality and expressive wines come from the Steiger, Frauenweingarten and Kirnberg vineyards, among others, with Zweigelt also occupying an impressive position alongside the classics Grüne Veltliner and Riesling.
