Weingut Miesbauer

We, Prof. Fritz and Heidi Miesbauer, live for our vineyards and the resulting products. Heidi is a trained gastronomy specialist from a family of winegrowers and Fritz, as a former long-term mayor and founder of the 1st Lower Austrian Wine Academy, has always been closely associated with viticulture.
The eight vineyards in the best Wachau locations are cultivated with great care according to the guidelines of integrated pest management and the resulting wines are vinified with the utmost purity. Our preference is the diversity of varieties.
Communicating wine culture is particularly important to us. We offer wine lovers wine seminars all year round under the motto "Meditate with wine".
All our wines are available under the protected "Bürgermeisterwein" brand. As a self-marketer, we do not belong to any winegrowers' cooperative. The wines are available from two sales outlets in Germany. If desired, we can also ship the wines and distilled spirits. We are a family business. We are therefore flexible in every respect and look forward to your visit!
