In 1055, Emperor Henry III gave the Benedictine monastery of Ebersbeerg (Germany) several large estates in the Wachau. These included the settlement of Weidling (today's Neuweidlingerstraße), where a wine farm - today's Schlüsselhof - was soon established. Since 1900, the Schlüsselhof has been owned by the Gausterer family, who still produce various types of wine, brandies and fruit. These can be tasted and purchased on site.
