Wallfahrtskirche Maria Trost

The Maria Trost pilgrimage church, located in the Lower Austrian district of Tulln, is a worthwhile excursion destination for pilgrims, believers and visitors interested in culture. The church, which is over 200 years old and was originally dedicated to St. Stephen, has been enthroned on the natural fortification of the Kirchberg since 1147. The two statues of saints at the northern entrance, St. Leopold and St. Charles Borromeo, each carved from a single piece of lime wood, are also particularly worth seeing.
