Grafenwörth is a charming market town in the district of Tulln in Lower Austria, characterized by its rich history, diverse culture and natural quality of life.

The municipality is located to the west of Vienna in the Tullnerfeld, north of the Danube, and covers an area of 46.4 km². It comprises six districts: Grafenwörth, Feuersbrunn, Jettsdorf, Seebarn am Wagram, St. Johann and Wagram am Wagram. With around 3,300 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2024), Grafenwörth offers a balanced mix of rural tranquillity and good connections to urban centers.

Archaeological finds prove that the municipal area has been inhabited since the Neolithic period. The first documentary mention of Grafenwörth dates back to 1210. The parish church of St. Andrew, a Josephine hall building from 1791, is an important cultural landmark.

The municipality offers numerous opportunities for recreation and leisure activities. The Way of St. James in the Weinviertel region leads through Feuersbrunn and invites pilgrims and hikers to explore the idyllic landscape. A special highlight is the Buddhist peace stupa on the Wagram, which was built in 2019 as a place of meditation and intercultural dialog.
