Weingut Eschenhof Holzer

The Eschenhof Holzer winery, located in Großriedenthal in the Wagram wine region, is a place where the innovative winemaker Arnold Holzer draws on the unique wealth of nature. With a great deal of creativity, an unmistakable style and a sense for pleasurable creations, exceptional wines are produced here.

The name “Eschenhof” comes from the ash trees that stand in front of the Wirtschafts-Stadl and the old cellar in the Kellergasse. The red wine is stored in this cellar. Arnold Holzer, born in 1987, took over the winery in the 5th generation from his parents in 2010. His wines are the result of the winemaker's art, paired with cosmopolitanism and the desire to develop distinctive wine creations from the natural wealth. With its loess soil, the Wagram wine region offers the natural conditions for the deep content of the wines. The wines that thrive on this loess soil are characterized by a particularly characterful, persistent and fine fruit.
