Stetteldorf Castle, also known as Juliusburg Castle, is an impressive building in Stetteldorf am Wagram, in the south-western Weinviertel region of Lower Austria. It sits majestically on the edge of the Wagram and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside.

The castle was built in 1588 by Count Julius II zu Hardegg after he had acquired the lordship and market town of Stetteldorf from the Starhemberg family in 1582. The master builder was Andreas Piazoll. Before the castle was built, Count Julius II had already established a sheep farm, a granary and a mill in the area. With the castle, he created a residence befitting his status, which he named after himself. In the 18th century, the castle was redesigned in Baroque style.

After severe devastation at the end of the war, the current owner, Georg Stradiot, endeavored to renovate the ensemble of castle, estate and historic garden and restore it to its original state. Stetteldorf Castle is a fascinating testimony to history and an absolute must-see for anyone visiting the Wagram region.
