In addition, top-class concerts - with ensembles from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra or international soloists - and the annual summer plays characterize castle life today. The wonderful castle pond invites you to relax and unwind. There is also plenty to experience in the famous Ahrenberger-Eichberger wine cellar lane: its wine taverns invite you to enjoy the best wine and hearty snacks. The village inns serve culinary delicacies from the kitchen and cellar.
Excursion tips for Sitzenberg-Reidling
The parish church in Reidling, built between 1803 and 1806, is well worth a visit. The corkscrew - a 15-metre-high viewing tower in the middle of the vineyards - is a beautiful hiking destination. Pleasure hikers and families with children in particular appreciate the easy circular hiking trail that leads through the unspoiled landscape and the Ahrenberger-Eichberger wine cellar lane.
