The result of the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) wine style is the interplay of climate, soil and location of the vineyards as well as the winemaker's craftsmanship. Markus Oßberger therefore attaches particular importance to the terroir of his vineyards, which his father Leopold Oßberger also takes great care of. The vineyards are situated in a sunny south to south-western location. On many terraced vineyards between Krems and Hadersdorf am Kamp, the vines are rooted in loess-conglomerate soils. In their search for nutrients, the roots penetrate deep into the soil and thus influence the quality of the grapes. It is therefore no coincidence that the saying goes: "Wine quality grows in the vineyard!" This also includes a rigorous quantity restriction and near-natural cultivation.

Markus Oßberger thus not only makes an important contribution to landscape conservation, he also guarantees a high level of grape quality, which he vinifies in the wine cellar into quality wines with the state test number. Consumers can then rely on this. In addition, the high quality gives Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) wines a positive image far beyond the borders of Austria. The wines are almost exclusively marketed by the company itself. The customer base consists of private individuals and restaurants in Austria and southern Germany. Wine sales with personality and customer contact are a top priority.
