Sepp and Josef Dockner cultivate around 100 hectares of vineyards around the Göttweiger Berg in the southern Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German). The farm's most important vineyards are Himmelreich, Frauengrund, Lusthausberg, Gottschelle, Steinbühel, Rosengarten and Leiten. The white wine varieties Grüne Veltliner and Riesling dominate the estate. The white wine range is complemented by Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The red wine varieties are Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Sepp and Josef Dockner can look back on many successful years. Sepp tirelessly looks after the vineyards and the management of the business. Son Josef is responsible for wine production as oenologist and cellar master. In the sparkling wine factory at Frauengrund in Krems, sparkling wine is produced with great sensitivity using traditional bottle fermentation.
If you want to get to know the extensive range, you will find plenty of opportunities: either in the tasting center or in the award-winning TOP wine tavern, where Gudrun Dockner spoils guests with culinary delights. The modern production cellar, also known as the JOE cellar, is one of the most modern cellars in Austria, both technologically and architecturally.
