The Fischer winery in Senftenberg can be traced back to 1861 on the family tree, with the tradition and knowledge of wine and fine fruit brandies being passed down from generation to generation. One of the specialties offered by Winzerhof Fischer is the Grüne Veltliner HAUERSEKT. In addition to the vineyard, Mr. Fischer also cultivates around 500 apricot, Williams pear and peach trees.
The fruit is mainly used to produce fine fruit brandies, such as the popular Wachau apricot brandy. The sweet Wachau apricots can also be bought from the farm from the beginning of July to mid-August. During the rest of the year, the apricots are available in the form of fine fruit brandy, including during wine taverns.
