Austria's largest apricot-growing community, the municipality of Rossatz-Arnsdorf, is located on the southern bank of the Danube in the heart of the Wachau. Not only wine shapes this landscape. After centuries of cultivation, the Wachau apricot is a popular crop. With the Marillenmeile, the apricot growers try to bring this topic closer to the hikers. It is divided into an eastern part (Rührsdorf-Rossatzbach) and a western part (St. Johann-Bacharnsdorf).
