Fels am Wagram is a traditional market town in the district of Tulln in Lower Austria, picturesquely situated on the Wagram mountain range. Around 29.5 km² in size and around 208 m above sea level, the region is characterised by vineyards (27%) as well as farmland and woodland (56%, 8%).

The municipality consists of the villages of Fels am Wagram, Gösing am Wagram, Stettenhof and Thürnthal. Numerous cellar lanes such as Hammergraben and Scheibe as well as traditional wineries characterise the townscape. Historical sights include the parish churches in Fels and Gösing as well as the baroque-classical Thürnthal Castle.

Fels is conveniently located around 40 km west of Vienna and 15 km east of Krems, easily accessible via the train at the railway station and the Kamptalstraße (B34) with connection to the S5. A big plus is the extensive wine-growing landscape, which is ideal for hiking, cycling and wine tasting.

With around 2,400 inhabitants, Fels am Wagram combines rural quality of life with cultural diversity - including modern infrastructure, art, wine and nature experiences.
