Weinberghof Fritsch, a renowned winery in the heart of the Wagram wine-growing region, west of Vienna, is known for its passion and commitment to viticulture. Founded in the early 1960s, the estate has a reputation for its outstanding wines and sustainable, biodynamic cultivation. The winery's philosophy is reflected in the provenance, closeness to nature and sustainability of its wines.

With 25 hectares of vineyards in classic locations, the typical white wine variety Grüner Veltliner dominates the range, complemented by Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Gelber Muskateller as well as Pinot Noir, Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are cultivated according to biodynamic principles, whereby the supply of the soil with compost from the own farm and the use of special biodynamic preparations are essential. The diversity of plants and animals in the vineyards serves as a buffer against the mass occurrence of individual species. The grapes are carefully harvested and selected by hand before being gently pressed and fermented exclusively with natural yeasts.

The wines are stored on the lees to develop their aromas - in steel tanks or large wooden barrels. The range comprises three categories: fresh, fruity, light summer wines from the Donaulöss, wines with a distinct regional character from the Wagram line and varietal and site-specific wines of great complexity and ageing potential from the white site wines, which are only bottled in the autumn, and the premium red wines.
