Weinbau 'LUKI'

The “LUKI” vineyard is a family business that was first mentioned in a document in 1826 and cultivates vineyards in the best locations of the Wagram. The Wora, Kogel, Brunnthal and Feuersbrunn Sonngasse vineyards offer a wide range of varieties. Frühroter Veltliner, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Zweigelt and Roesler grow here.

Close-to-nature cultivation and yield reduction are central principles of the farm, which create optimal conditions for the Kirchhofer family's fruit-emphasised wines. The white wines are vinified gently and slowly in steel tanks, while the red wines are matured in wooden barrels after fermentation in steel tanks. The “LUKI” vineyard is an excellent example of the high quality and diversity that the Wagram wine-growing region has to offer.
