Weinbau Karl Frauenhofer

The Karl Frauenhofer winery, located in idyllic Fels am Wagram, is a place of historical significance and contemporary excellence. The original house was built in 1869 and has since been home to several generations of winemakers. In 2011, Karl Frauenhofer took over the winery and the first-class vineyards from his parents. With great attention to quality, he has continued to develop viticulture and laid the foundations for his success.

In addition to viticulture, the winery is also known for its Kellergassenheurigen. The old press cellar was lovingly renovated in 1985 and the current wine tavern was built. With seating for 70 inside and another 70 outside when the weather is fine, the Heurige offers a cozy atmosphere for wine lovers. There is a playground and a play corner for younger guests. Weingut Karl Frauenhofer is an experience for all the senses and a must for every wine lover.
