The highly talented composer Ignaz Joseph Pleyel was born in 1757 in Ruppersthal, as son of a village schoolmaster. The Pleyel-museum is worldwide the only memorial dedicated to the life and work of the composer Ignaz Joseph Pleyel. The museum shows among other things selected original instruments of the owner of a famous piano manufacturer and founder of the Salle Pleyel in Paris.

Frühstück: Mo bis Sa 8h bis 14h, kann man mit Führungen und Weinwanderungen kombinieren
Führung im Pleyel Museum: Mo bis Sa 8h bis 14h, Sa zusätzlich von 14h bis 18h; So von 11h bis 15h (an konzertfreien Sonntagen) sowie gegen jederzeitige Voranmeldung.
