As a child, I first got a taste of the vineyard and cellar air at my uncle's winery (Weingut Franz & Christine Netzl, Göttlesbrunn) during the harvest. From that point on, it was clear to me what I wanted to be: A winemaker! And I pursued this dream: In 2011, I graduated from the Krems School of Viticulture as a skilled worker. During this training, I completed two internships at top Austrian wineries: the Kollwentz Römerhof winery and the R&A Pfaffl winery. This was followed by internships at the wineries St. Michael - Eppan | South Tyrol and Oyster Bay | New Zealand.
I was soon given the opportunity to lease vineyards, which I naturally took up.
After my first harvest in 2013, I vinified my first wines. It was important to me to produce two typical Austrian wines: Veltliner and Zweigelt.
