Schaubühne "Sitzplatzskulptur" am Schönberger Kalvarienberg

Art in public space

On the Calvary, near the crucifixion group, a walk-in seating sculpture "Schaubühne" was created by the association "Weltklasse! Art & Wine. Kunstwege im Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) association, supported by Kunst im öffentlichen Raum NÖ and realized by the artist Norbert Maringer.

The walk-in sculpture with three rows of seats for at least 80 people is intended to establish itself as a meeting place for readings, theater, wine tastings, celebrations or simply as a resting place.

A place has been created here where people can find themselves, emphasized Governor Erwin Pröll in his opening speech.

The project has also increased the attractiveness of the landscape. When the weather is fine, the view from this vantage point extends as far as the Ötscher.
