Bioweingut Voktor Fischer

The Viktor Fischer organic winery in Wagram ob der Traisen is a family business run by organic winemaker Viktor Fischer. The young winemaker has been responsible for the wine at the winery, which he took over from his parents in 2019, since 2012. He graduated from the Krems School of Viticulture and gained international experience during two internships in Australia. He also spent valuable years as an apprentice with the model winemaker Markus Huber from Weingut Markus Huber and the organic pioneer Ilse Maier from Weingut Geyerhof.
As early as 2009, the Fischer winery was converted to organic farming. The main varieties in the Traisental - including Viktor Fischer's - are Grüne Veltliner and Riesling. The winemaker's secret passion is red wines, which is why he also places great value on his St. Laurent and Zweigelt. In addition to the various types of Grüne Veltliner - from light to strong and characterized by loess and gravel soils - the Gelber Muskateller, Roter Muskateller and Gemischter Satz complete the range.
