Winzergut Ortmann

We have been enthusiastically producing first-class white and red wines and fruit juices for four generations. In our wine cellar in Ambach in the municipality of Wölbling, we give our wines the time they need to develop optimally and in our own butcher's shop we prepare regional delicacies for our guests. The family business is characterized by its connection to the region and the joy of daily work in the vineyard and wine cellar. We are happy to invite our guests to our winery to experience the special atmosphere on site.

The Ortmanns are winegrowers with heart and soul and have been producing wine in Wölbling for four generations, with around two hectares of vineyards in the Traisental and Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) wine-growing regions. This results in a variety of wines and grape varieties, which makes a cross-tasting through the house's range an exciting experience and a short wine journey through the region. The Ortmann family's wine tavern is a real gem: during the renovation, care was taken to combine historical building fabric, such as a visible natural stone wall, with modern, friendly furnishings to create a harmonious whole. Here you can enjoy a good Heurigen snack with many home-made products.
