The market town of Judenau-Baumgarten in the district of Tulln lies on the southern edge of the Tullnerfeld. From here, the landscape rises gently to the foothills of the Vienna Woods. From the easily accessible Auberg, the view extends across the Tullnerfeld, along the Danube and to the Wagram to the north of the Danube. The ridge of the Vienna Woods rises in the south-east. The municipal area includes the villages of Baumgarten am Tullnerfeld, Freundorf, Judenau and Zöfing.

Hiking, cycling & enjoying - in Judenau-Baumgarten
Numerous beautiful cycling and riding trails as well as relaxed hiking routes lead through the countryside. Several inns, wine taverns and wine taverns invite you to take a break during your excursion. Baumgarten is home to a 400-meter-long old wine cellar lane with 17 buildings. The cellar alley system in Judenau, on the other hand, is 340 meters long and has 35 buildings lined up next to each other. The oldest dating here is from 1728.

Sights in Judenau-Baumgarten
The churches in the municipality are particularly worth seeing: from the parish church of St. John in Freundorf and the Way of the Cross on the Auberg to the parish church of St. Trinity in Judenau and the branch church of St. Ulrich in Baumgarten. Judenau Castle was built in 1589 and has been home to the "Save the Child" organization since 1961. Opposite the castle is the Eremitenstöckl, built in 1765 as a chapter house. To the left of the castle is the more than 300-year-old Kapuzinerstöckl - with a valuable baroque Marian column on the square in front of it.
