Culinary delicacies from the show kitchen

Treat yourself to some downtime and start your day off on a relaxed note with breakfast in the sunny Genuss-Glashaus under the palm trees, or sit back and relax on the sun terrace, listening to the gentle sound of the waterfall as you enjoy a day of vacation at Kittenberger.

Starting at 11:30 a.m., homemade, seasonal soups and our vitamin-rich salad bar await you.

In our open kitchen, our garden chefs grill and cook your chosen dish fresh, prepared with ingredients from local farms.
Whether it’s pasta with herb pesto, the Kittenburger, the Schiltern pasta stir-fry, the Schiltern beer roast, the Neusiedl pikeperch fillet with rice and wok-fried vegetables in a gray poppy seed sauce, or the vegan garden curry with rice—these are just a small selection from our menu. We also have special dishes for our younger guests, such as “Witch’s Spaghetti” and the “Garden Burger.” In addition, you can enjoy hearty and vegetarian seasonal daily specials.

Homemade cakes, pastries (including gluten-free options), and strudels—made according to Grandma’s recipe—as well as vegan apple cake round out the culinary experience. And for ice cream lovers, we offer Waldviertel ice cream or authentic Italian gelato at our ice cream counter.

Our staff at the bar will serve you refreshing drinks, homemade juices, Grander water, Zwettler or Brauschneider beer, and excellent coffee. The wine list offers a journey through the greater Langenlois region.

The Garten.Jause, located in the charming farm garden, is also open daily and offers hearty snacks for in-between meals and a wonderful atmosphere for taking a short break in the sun or under the shade of plane trees.
