Spanning an area of over 60,000 m², there are 50 themed gardens that delight visitors in every season—from the awakening of spring to the magic of Advent—with their unforgettable spots, creative landscaping ideas, and colorful displays of blooms.
Garden Experience
In this wonderland of garden fantasy, Asia borders vineyards, Portuguese fire art meets Celtic power, and the journey continues cheerfully from the rainbow into the steppe, from the giant slide to the raft. Herbs wind their way up a hill in spirals and line two paths that never meet. Alpacas, ponies, and goats greet visitors. Benches and loungers, comfortably furnished with cushions, invite you to linger and take in the sights. With skill, finesse, and a wealth of experience, the Kittenberg team consistently provides fresh inspiration, skillfully and discreetly ensuring the well-being of plants, animals, and visitors.
Family Outing
This unique adventure garden—with its family and adrenaline slides, rafting pond, babbling brook, obstacle course, and much more—delights adventurers of all ages. In the adjacent farmyard, Paulchen the pygmy goat and his friends show off their skills during the daily program. Alpacas, ponies, and bunnies round out the animal crew.
For the older adventurers (ages 16 and up), Austria’s first garden-based mystery hunt offers plenty of exciting discoveries. While searching for the Fangorn Root, you’ll uncover many a mysterious secret in this wonderland of garden fantasy.
Shopping and Culinary Delights
Those with the infamous “green thumb” will find plenty to enjoy at Kittenberger’s Garden Center. The nursery, with its year-round selection from A to Z; the flower shop, featuring seasonal herbs and plants; the perennial garden; the ceramics shop; and much more are sure to make (hobby) gardeners’ eyes light up with joy.
The Genuss-Glashaus welcomes guests with fresh delicacies from the show kitchen, seasonal treats, and the occasional creative dish. You can sit on the sun terrace by the waterfall and enjoy the view of the gardens while savoring homemade pastries, delicious coffee, or refreshing drinks.
