Here you can experience the origins of the Wachau - our house was built as a fortified tower more than one thousand years ago.
First mentioned in documents around 980, it protected the castle from attackers. Through careful and sensitive renovation, we have been able to maintain the unique and enchanting flair despite the modern comforts and technology. The fantastic view over the Wachau makes every guest’s heart beat faster. The five spacious, comfortably and stylishly furnished wellness and gourmet rooms, as well as the gourmet apartment (with its own terrace) are decorated in warm colours and furnished with natural materials.
Breakfast is served in the winter garden or on the sunny terrace and takes the form of a finely selected buffet with exquisite Wachau delicacies.
