The Wagram trout family Hengl is a family-run farm that has been dedicated to fish farming for over 30 years. Originally founded by Helga and Karl Hengl, the tradition of craftsmanship and quality is now carried on by their two sons, Andreas and Karl Hengl. They offer excellent, regional and fresh products.
Forellenhof Hengl is a paradise for fish lovers. There is a wide range of products to choose from, including fresh trout, salmon trout and fish spreads. Particularly noteworthy are the house specialties: Wagram trout smoked over beechwood and pickled salmon trout.
They are sold directly from the farm and advance orders are requested. Pick-up times are from Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm. The farm is closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays.
