Winzerhof Gmeiner, located around 15 km east of Krems, cultivates around eight hectares of land, half of which is dedicated to red wine and the other half to white wine. The vineyards stretch along the Wagram and offer a variety of white wine varieties such as Grüne Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay, Welschriesling, Neuburger and Muskateller as well as red wine varieties such as Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Blauburger, Rösler and Pinot Noir. The wines are vinified in various stages of development, from dry to sweet, and from classic to barrique, in order to offer the right wine for every taste. Fine brandies are also on offer.
Culinary delights are served in the wine tavern with homemade delicacies.
The Donautal-Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) cycle path leads directly past Winzerhof Gmeiner and invites you to enjoy a cozy cellar tour or wine tasting. Winzerhof Gmeiner attaches great importance to quality over quantity and is delighted to receive annual awards from Falstaff and other wine guides. For example, the Zweigelt NO1 was included in the 2017 list of Austrian Salon wines.
