Get ready for a spectacularly high walk through the tops of towering trees. Perched 30 meters above the ground, the treetop trail consists of a multi-level lookout tower, flights of stairs, and a number of platforms.
700 meters of railings guide you upward. They are secured with panes of glass and artistically designed by the renowned Lower Austrian wood carver Erich Steininger. If need be, an elevator takes you to the top platform.
The entire premises are barrier-free, from parking lot to treetops. The treetop trail affords breathtaking views of the model gardens, the Danube wetlands, Tulln and far beyond into the expansive Tulln Basin.
On clear, sunny days you can even see Mount Ötscher!
Public arrival is easily accessible by train or bus.
