The Oskar Kokoschka Haus is the birthplace of the world famous painter. He first saw the light of day here on March 1, 1886.

The Oskar Kokoschka Documentation Pöchlarn stages a successful summer exhibition annually at the Oskar Kokoschka Haus in the warmer months of the year from May to October. These exhibitions are designed by the Kokoschka Center at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and compiled from the center’s own holdings as well as works on loan from public and private collections.
