The route starts in the center of Rossatz opposite the church square in Wegscheid at Mettenerplatz. We turn west and first walk past houses, then along forest and vineyards to Pfarrerberg until we reach the street "Auf der Schütt". Here we can take a break at one of the open Heurigen establishments. Refreshed, we continue towards the federal road, which we cross a little further east towards Rührsdorf, and follow the road further. After about 100 meters we turn right into Mitterweg and follow the street to the next crossing. Here, keep right and then turn right again immediately. From here, a path leads after about 50 meters into the vineyards and apricot gardens. We follow this path to the outskirts of Rossatz and continue on Kirnbergweg and "In der Welt" to the market square of Rossatz. Here we keep right and return to the starting point of the route.
