Set against a magical and unique backdrop, the Melk Advent Village once again welcomes visitors on all four weekends in Advent. Along with being probably the loveliest Renaissance castle north of the Alps, the Schallaburg is know for its excellent annual rotating exhibitions on culture, contemporary history and archeology. But that's not all. Visitors to the Schallaburg during Advent can look forward to a unique blend of original art handicrafts, Christmas music and regional culinary delicacies.
