Fels am Wagram, with a vineyard area of around 800 hectares, is the third largest wine-growing community in Austria. This is also impressively reflected in a hike through the vineyard plots and cellar lanes. The landscape is strongly influenced by viticulture, which is a special feature of the region. The mix of the large flat areas of the Tullnerfeld with the hilly wine landscape of the distinctive Wagram edge offers every hiker a suitable level of challenge. In between, you can get closer to the topic of wine at the wine educational trail, on a walk with our cellar lane guides, or at a local Heurigen. At the highest points of the hiking trails, you will be rewarded with a wonderful view over the Tullnerfeld. The Fels lookout tower, at the northern end of the Hammergraben, is easily accessible and open to the public at all times. The view extends beautifully far into the Tullnerfeld and towards Traismauer.
