The village of Großriedenthal is nestled in a unique and idyllic landscape between the vineyards of Goldberg, Hausberg and Eisenhut. With over 500 hectares of vineyards, the municipality is one of the most important wine-growing communities on the Wagram.
The special soil composition of the Wagram characterizes the landscape and turns every hike into a nature experience: along the paths, you can discover numerous plants and grasses that can only be found here in this variety.

In the opposite direction to route 1, the path goes from Reithergraben to Diebsnest – onward to Eisenhut (350 m) – downhill on unpaved paths towards Steingrube – further over Goldberg towards the cellar lane Wolfsgrube – back over the hollow path to the starting point, the church Großriedenthal.The parking lot is located at the church Großriedenthal.

- Coming from St. Pölten: S 33 to Krems and then via S 5 further into the region
- Coming from Linz: A1 to St. Pölten, S 33 to Krems and via S 5 further into the region
- Coming from Graz: A2 towards Vienna, then via S 5 into the region
