Jakobsweg Römerland Carnuntum: Etappe 3 Petronell-Carnuntum-Maria Ellend

This stage leads from Petronell-Carnuntum with its impressive Roman town of Carnuntum to Maria Ellend, where you can visit the pilgrimage church and the Lourdes grotto.

From the Roman town of Carnuntum, the trail leads across the parking lot to the Heidentor, the landmark of the region and the Carnuntum Way of St. James. The route continues along the signposts to Wildungsmauer with its Romanesque church or alternatively towards Regelsbrunn. Via Haslau you reach Maria Ellend, where the pilgrimage church "Our Lady of the Rosary" and the famous Lourdes Grotto invite you to pause for a moment.
