Description
Lukas Markowitsch's 13 hectares of vineyards are located in the south-west of Carnuntum, which he cultivates with a great deal of love and effort. Lukas Markowitsch is the third generation of his family to run the winery. The Schüttenberg, Rosenberg, Hagelsberg and Haidacker vineyards - all first-class, pure south-facing sites - form the natural basis of the winery. The result is independent wines full of character. The most important grape variety for the winegrower is Zweigelt, followed by Cabernet, Merlot and Blaufränkisch. For the white wines, he places particular emphasis on Grüne Veltliner, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gelber Muskateller.
