Weinbau Alois Taferner

The Alois Taferner winery is located east of Vienna in the Carnuntum wine-growing region. The name "Carnuntum" is reminiscent of a former Roman main base on the Danube border - today with a large number of excavations, with the symbol of the area, the "Heidentor". The basis for the quality of a good wine is the vineyard in which the grapes thrive. The "Ungarberg" vineyard lies on the slopes of the foothills of the Leitha Mountains.
