Information Center & Regional Store
The Stork House and its associated regional shop are located right inside Marchegg Castle. As an information center for regional nature tourism, it offers a detailed look into the lives of storks, the natural environment of the Marchauen floodplains, and the surroundings of the diverse Marchfeld region. The regional shop offers innovative and regional products from partner businesses, themed literature, and plenty of interesting items for young nature enthusiasts. The screen in the shop displays a live stream offering a glimpse into a stork’s nest and the fascinating process of raising stork chicks.
Gift baskets filled with delicious products from the Marchfeld can also be put together upon request.
Bicycle parking is available throughout the castle grounds.
